Versailles, Bateaux Parisiens, Les Cars Rouge, L’Arc de Triomphe, L’Ecluse, La Tour Eiffel
*cutting in lines is not only an Asian people thing…a bunch of Caucasian people cut in behind us while waiting to get into Versailles.
*Versailles is huge and gorgeous. (that’s what she said.) But there were so many people that I felt like I was in HK, only with lots of white people instead of yellow, and we were in a magnificent chateau.
*every street corner has a Parisian cafe. (almost every.)
* milk doesn’t have to be kept in the fridge?!?!
*getting to the top of the Arc de Triomphe was more exerting than I bargained for, but so worth it. Felt like I was in the centre of Paris.
*dinner at L’Ecluse, a small restaurant as per recommendation by our receptionist. It was very good, except I felt sad that despite using my best French, the waiter still knew to speak English to us…I blame my dSLR.
*The Eiffel Tower is most beautiful at night.
*the computer keyboard is similar yet so different. I was confused and resorted to index finger typing
